1. The Service
LUTRipper is a browser-based tool for generating colour grading LUTs, Lightroom presets, and Fujifilm Film Simulation Recipes from reference images or text descriptions. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep your sign-in credentials secure. You're responsible for activity under your account. One account per person; accounts may not be shared or resold.
3. Subscriptions & Billing
Paid plans renew automatically each month until cancelled. Prices are shown at checkout and include UK VAT where applicable. Payment is handled by our payment processor; we do not store your card details.
4. Cancellation & Refunds
You can cancel at any time from your account settings. When you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of the period you've already paid for, and no further payments are taken. No refunds or pro-rata credits are given for the remainder of a paid period.
By starting a subscription you request immediate access to the service and acknowledge that, once you begin using it within the 14-day cooling-off period, you lose the right to a cooling-off refund to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms affects statutory rights that cannot be excluded under UK law, including where the service is faulty or not as described.
5. Your Content & Ours
You keep full ownership of images you use with the tool and the LUTs, presets, and recipes you generate — use them in personal and commercial work freely. The LUTRipper service, engine, brand, and site remain our property. You may not reverse-engineer the service or resell access to it.
6. Acceptable Use
Don't use the service for anything unlawful, don't attempt to disrupt or overload it, and don't use automated means to extract the engine or bulk-generate output beyond your plan's limits.
7. Availability & Liability
We aim for the service to be fast and reliable but provide it "as is" and don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
8. Changes & Governing Law
We may update these terms; material changes will be notified in-app or by email. These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.

1. Who We Are
LUTRipper is the data controller for personal data processed through this site, operating under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
2. Your Photos Stay on Your Device
Reference images you load into LUTRipper are processed entirely in your browser. Your photos are never uploaded to our servers.
3. What We Collect
- Account data — email address and sign-in details, to run your account.
- Billing data — handled by our payment processor as merchant of record; we never see or store your card details.
- Text prompts — descriptions you type into Text to LUT are sent to our AI provider solely to generate your result.
- Support messages — if you contact us.
4. Why We Process It (Lawful Bases)
To provide the service you've subscribed to (contract); to secure and improve the service (legitimate interests); to meet tax and accounting obligations (legal obligation); and, only where you've opted in, to send product updates (consent — withdraw any time).
5. Sharing & Transfers
We share data only with the providers needed to run the service: our payment processor, our AI inference provider (prompts only), and our hosting infrastructure. We never sell personal data. Where a provider processes data outside the UK, transfers are protected by UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.
6. Retention
Account data is kept while your account is active and deleted within a reasonable period after closure. Billing records are retained for six years as required by HMRC.
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies only — to keep you signed in and the service working. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
8. Your Rights
Under UK GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data; ask for a portable copy; object to or restrict processing; and withdraw consent. Email support@lutripper.com and we'll respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
9. Changes
If this policy changes materially, we'll notify you in-app or by email before the changes take effect.
